EACEA is looking for academic experts

By the end of the year, a Call for proposals "Intra ACP mobility scheme" should be launched with the primary objective to strengthen cooperation between Higher Education (HE) Institutions in the African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) region. The European Commission's EACEA (the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) will be responsible for the management of this Call for proposals. As for the Erasmus Mundus Programme, the Agency will need academic experts for assisting with the evaluation of grant applications to be received. In order to do so they are using a database (see link below) where the interested applicants have to apply. The objective is establishing a list of potential experts from ACP region.

Therefore experts interested by this Call are asked to submit their applications using the online form provided on the Agency's website, at the following address:


The Call for experts is open until 2013. However, for this Call we will select experts that have submitted their application by the 15 of November at the latest. The experts should apply under Erasmus Mundus programme.

Please note that we are looking for experts that have:

—   proven skills in areas relating to the programme objectives and priorities;

—   experience in the field of international cooperation between universities, project management, evaluation of programmes and/or projects;

—   deep knowledge of programme at master and doctoral level;

—   good understanding of policy and regulatory issues related to recognition of qualifications and studies in the ACP region;

—   ability to work and to write in English or French (preferably English);

—   to be familiar with EU higher education programmes will be considered as an additional asset.
