The International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) Kenya is an International Non-Governmental Organization, based in Mombasa, Kenya, affiliated with Ghent University, Belgium, and registered since May 2000. ICRH K is implementing various activities in different fields of reproductive health. These activities encompass basic research as well as interventions including family planning, safe motherhood, child health, HI/AIDS (prevention, PMTCT, working with vulnerable groups in communities such as male and female sex workers, ..). The organization counts 4 components, each headed by a director: capacity building/M&E, interventions, research, social sciences and policy. For the research work, strong data entry and ICT units are present. Since the inception in 2000, 33 projects have been implemented of which 15 are currently underway. ICRH Kenya works in close collaboration with the University of Nairobi, Ministry of Health, Kenya, WHO, the International Partnership for Microbicides, the European Union, EDCTP, UNFPA, IPPF, USAID, FHI, and the Population Council. ICRH activities have resulted in the publication of 31 publications in peer-reviewed journals. i like the activitiesthat the organisation is involved in and really wish to workthe organization. i am a fourth year studen inmaseno university taking BA Sociology and in april 23rd 2010 i shall be through with my undrgraduate degee.I am looking for a place to be attched as a requirement for my degree program.
